Actress Lee Yoobi recently revealed her tips for achieving perfect shoulders. On her YouTube channel, "Tto Yoobi," she shared a video about her daily life, saying, “Today, I came to do personal training for my shoulders.” She added, “I really love shoulder exercises, so I make sure not to miss them.”

Lee Yoobi does shoulder workouts 5 to 6 times a week. She mentioned, “For women, shoulders are really important,” and demonstrated exercises like inverted rows and pole stretching. After her workout, she said, “After exercising, my shoulders naturally straighten up. I hope to maintain this perfect shoulder look even when I wake up.”

Strengthening Back Muscles to Improve Shoulders

The inverted row is an exercise that uses your body weight to strengthen back muscles. You grab a bar or cable, engage your back and core muscles, and pull yourself towards your chest, then slowly return to the starting position. This exercise helps prevent the shoulders from slumping forward. If your back muscles are weak, your shoulder blades may rise and your shoulders may droop, making them look less defined.

Pole stretching involves holding a pole with both hands and stretching your arms up towards the ceiling. You then lean your upper body to one side and repeat on the other side. This movement improves your body’s range of motion and helps develop shoulder and back muscles. However, be careful not to overdo it, as it can cause shoulder injuries.

Dumbbell lunges are done by holding dumbbells in both hands, standing with your feet hip-width apart, and stepping forward with one foot. Keep your back heel up and your gaze forward, bending your front knee to about 90 degrees while lowering your back knee toward the floor. This exercise strengthens not only your shoulders and back but also your legs.

Importance of Correcting Habits

To maintain perfect shoulders, it’s important to strengthen back muscles and correct your daily habits. When using your smartphone or computer, consciously try to maintain good posture. Slouching can cause rounded shoulders, making your chest muscles tight. To keep good posture, sit up straight with your shoulders back and your head looking forward. Avoid resting your elbows on the desk or leaning your weight on one side. It's also a good idea to break the habit of resting your chin on your hand.
