Actors Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun have revealed their health management tips and secrets to maintaining a youthful appearance. On July 18th, their YouTube channel 'Park Si-eun Jin Tae-hyun Small TV' featured a video titled 'Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun's Anti-Aging Supplements in Their 40s.'

In the video, Jin Tae-hyun mentioned, "Park Si-eun is 44 years old and I am 43. Many people say we look young and often ask how we manage our health. Some even ask if we eat eel or catfish."

Jin Tae-hyun continued, "I take a multivitamin, omega-3, and CoQ10. For those who run, vitamin C, collagen, and CoQ10 are essential because running produces free radicals. We need to take these supplements intentionally. I also take arginine."

Regarding her secret to maintaining a youthful appearance, Park Si-eun said, "First thing in the morning, I brush my teeth to eliminate bacteria in my mouth, then drink a cup of 'eumyangtang,' which is made by mixing hot water and cold water. It’s good to add a bit of bamboo salt, but if it doesn't suit you, you can test with a small amount and adjust according to your body's needs."

What is 'Eumyangtang'?
'Eumyangtang,' which Park Si-eun drinks every morning, is a medicinal water made by mixing cold and hot water. According to the Donguibogam, an ancient Korean medical book, eumyangtang helps restore vitality, relieve hangovers, and soothe indigestion. The method to prepare it is to fill half a cup with hot water above 90 degrees Celsius, then add cold water at 4-6 degrees Celsius.

The key is to pour hot water first, followed by cold water. This sequence is important to create convection between the two temperatures since hot water rises and cold water sinks.

The Benefits of Bamboo Salt
Park Si-eun also mentioned that adding bamboo salt to eumyangtang is beneficial. Bamboo salt is purified by baking salt in bamboo. It has excellent sterilizing and anti-inflammatory properties and helps remove toxins, waste, and heavy metals from the body.

However, caution is advised. Even though bamboo salt is beneficial, excessive intake can increase blood sodium levels, raise blood pressure, and damage blood vessel walls. Therefore, individuals with cardiovascular diseases should be careful with their sodium intake.
