Hugel Successfully Concludes HA Filler workshop for French medical experts
The event comprised lecture and live demonstration for facial filler injection
Hugel Inc., a leading global medical aesthetics company, said on Wednesday it had recently launched H.E.L.F. Global Expert Workshop on hyaluronic acid dermal filler treatment for about 10 French medical aesthetics professionals.
Hugel created the workshop series this year to invite foreign medical practitioners to Korea and enhance their understanding and techniques of aesthetic procedures. The workshop is a part of H.E.L.F., or Hugel Expert Leader’s Forum, in which Korean and overseas medical aesthetic industry leaders share the latest trends, knowledge and advanced skills.
The latest workshop in Seoul included a lecture and live demonstration on filler treatment for adding natural volume to the full face.
Dr. Choi Hanmoi, plastic surgeon and medical director at BY ME Plastic Surgery, introduced the mechanism of action and applications of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and performed a demonstration for facial balancing by using Hugel’s filler THE CHAEUM, globally known as Revolax.
Many medical practitioners in Europe take intervals of a few weeks when injecting fillers in multiple facial areas, and this may require patients to visit the clinic for months. Dr. Choi demonstrated professional skills to complete such procedure in a day with the right amount of fillers, while carefully considering the patient’s physical condition and facial aesthetics. The French participants were highly satisfied with the workshop, Hugel said.
“The demonstration was very interesting and helpful to understand why many overseas patients come to Korea for dermal filler treatments,” said Dr. Andrea Vincentelli, a workshop attendee.
“We are pleased to have successfully run the workshop with Dr. Choi, who has deep knowledge and aesthetic expertise as a plastic surgeon. Hugel will continue to organize various academic events to enhance the brand credibility of THE CHAEUM, which has a presence in around 30 countries,” a Hugel official said.
